We've been in the vacation property rental business for years and have found a new way to meet the needs of Estes Park property owners. We have been successful in renting our properties directly to visitors - and we have experienced some of the challenges of working with traditional property management companies. From our experience and success to date we've put together an arrangement that works for everyone.

We work on a non-exclusive basis, and property owners have the right to terminate our working relationship at any time. There are no restrictive contracts.  We take professional photographs of of each home, build a custom web listing, aggressively market the properties and respond to guests inquiries.  We do all this for a commission that’s far less than those of full service property management companies.  Our Managing Partner, Kathy James Rinker is charged with being your contact and will ensure that we meet your rental objectives.

In addition to our Estes Park operation, we have become the largest independent vacation rental agency in the Rockies including Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Snowmass, Telluride, Steamboat Springs, Winter Park, Deer Valley, Park City, Jackson Hole, Keystone, Big Sky and Crested Butte.  Resortia Rentals By Owner has now extended our unique service beyond the Rocky Mountains to include Lake Tahoe, Sun Valley, Santa Barbara, Hilton Head and Maui.

Here's what's different about working with Estes Park Rentals By Owner, and why it might be the right solution for you:

  • We are NOT property managers. We do most of the challenging work for you - finding the right guests for your home, and finalizing all terms.
     
  • We never handle your funds as the guest makes payments directly to you. 
     
  • You receive funds PRIOR to the guest's arrival 
     
  • Our fees are lower than traditional property management's fees 
     
  • Owners have the opportunity to speak to the guests to make ensure we've made a right match of owner and guest 
     
  • We provide owners with an on-line calendar - allowing you to block out dates where you are using your home
     
  • Home owners are required to collect lodging tax for all rentals shorter than 30 nights. We encourage homeowners to use HotSpotTax service as an easy way to file lodging tax with the appropriate tax districts. For more information on HotSpotTax, call 877.589.0207.
